The Anderson Falls Heritage Society regrets to announce that the presentation, "Hidden in Plain Sight: Seneca Perry & Son", scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, has been cancelled. We hope to reschedule this presentation for later this summer.
Our next regularly scheduled presentation will be: "Rich in History: A Champlain Valley Reader", presented by Richard Frost, on Wednesday, July 20, 7 p.m., at the Keeseville Fire Department.

Seneca Perry (1796-1860), a boat wright turned carpenter-joiner, relocated his family from Bennington, VT to Keeseville when his son, Isaac Gale Perry, was 7. Isaac (1822-1904) attended the Keeseville Academy until age 10 when he left to apprentice with his father from 1832-1854. In New York City, Isaac apprenticed in the office of architect Thomas R. Guest Speaker: Historian, author, documentary filmmaker, former radio personality James R. “Jim” Jones has been tracking local steamboats, industry, recreation, entertainment and railroads from the Champlain Canal’s opening in 1823 to the present.
