On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, a historic roadside marker will be unveiled inClintonville, commemorating the military service of an American Revolutionary War veteran. This marker was generously funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation under their Patriot Burials program, which recognizes individuals who fought in or were involved with the struggle for American independence.
