This is the story of successes and failures and of persistence and dedication which resulted in New York State being the 13th state to provide full suffrage for women and leading the way for the passage of the 19th Amendment which was officially adopted on August 26, 1920.

Chris Sabick will discuss the history of Schuyler Island and the underwater archeological research that has taken place around the island with particular focus on the role that the island played in the American Revolution and the Battle of Valcour Island.
